Natalie Pateman

Natalie's passion for hair and makeup blossomed during her early teenage years when she had the opportunity to assist her uncle, a talented photographer, on a commercial photoshoot. This invaluable work experience at the age of 14 ignited her love for the artistry of hairstyling and makeup application.

After completing three years of NVQ level training at Watford College, Natalie made the decision to pursue a career as a hairdresser and beauty therapist. Seeking to expand her skillset, Natalie then enrolled at the highly regarded Greasepaint School of Makeup and Special Effects for TV, Film, and Theatre.

With over 24 years of experience in the film and television industry, Natalie has diligently climbed the ladder to become a highly skilled and dedicated makeup designer.

In 2013, Natalie had the honour of being a member of the esteemed makeup team that secured a Bafta win for their exceptional hair and makeup work on Series 2 of the beloved show, Call the Midwife. Additionally, in 2015, Natalie had the privilege of receiving an RTS Award nomination for her own outstanding makeup design on the Sky One medical drama, Critical.

Since then, Natalie has embarked on a diverse array of projects, spanning from courtroom dramas to medical series, as well as captivating period productions like the Bafta-nominated Ghosts. Natalie’s most recent endeavour includes The Marlow Murder Club.
